Terms of Service
Last updated: April 13, 2026
1. What Meteogram is
Meteogram is a weather app that displays forecast information using third-party weather and location services. It is provided for personal, non-commercial use unless we agree otherwise in writing.
2. Availability and accuracy
- Weather forecasts are inherently uncertain and may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate.
- You should not rely on Meteogram for safety-critical, medical, emergency, aviation, marine, or other high-risk decisions.
- Some features depend on third-party providers such as Apple WeatherKit, Nominatim/OpenStreetMap, app stores, and RevenueCat. Those services may change, suspend, or limit availability at any time.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where the law does not allow that restriction
- use the app to scrape, bulk extract, or redistribute forecast or location data in violation of applicable law or third-party terms
- interfere with the app, its infrastructure, or related services
- use the app for unlawful purposes
4. Purchases and subscriptions
- Some features may require a purchase or subscription.
- Payments, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own terms.
- We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
- Subscription entitlement status may be validated through RevenueCat.
5. Privacy and GDPR
Your use of Meteogram is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how personal data is processed and what rights you may have under the GDPR. If there is a conflict between a privacy disclosure and these terms on a data protection point, the Privacy Policy controls.
6. Intellectual property
- The Meteogram name, branding, interface, and original app content are our property or used under license.
- Weather icons are provided by Meteocons under their applicable license terms.
- Weather, geocoding, and purchase services may be subject to the rights and terms of their respective providers.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meteogram is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from your use of Meteogram. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app or subscription in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
9. Consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer protection or data protection law. If you are an EU consumer, mandatory protections under the law of your habitual residence may still apply.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the developer resides, excluding conflict-of-law rules. If you are an EU consumer, this does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections under the law of your country of residence.
